    I keep getting this error in my site logs and the site is loading extremely slow if not timing out. I am working with my host as well but am desperate to fix this and looking for any possible help.

    [Wed Sep 08 10:21:23 2010] [error] [client 63.139.14.226] Premature end of script headers: php5

    It doesn’t tell me which page is necessarily throwing the error like I’m used to. This site has been happily running for quite some time but now I’m experiencing this.

    Thanks

    Michael,

    If you try a very simple script, such as

    <?php phpinfo();

    Does that also produce the error? This is likely an issue with the server.

    I have done that and it doesn’t throw that error. Have you ever seen this before?

    If you query for Premature end of script headers you’ll see one post that references GoDaddy, and a potential issue involving PHP memory.

    Have you seen: EEWiki:// HowTo Determine Memory Limits

    How much memory is allocated to PHP?

    memory_limit   100M

    If this is something you haven’t seen I will keep hunting, thanks.

    Hi Michael,

    100M is plenty. Googling the error it appears to be widespread, but always resolved on the server side. Let us know if you are able to work with your host to resolve this.
