    Heya,

I’m having some major problem with the file upload manager.

    1) I select a file to upload to a upload directory.
    2) File uploads correctly.
    3) Select a new file to upload to same or another upload directory.
    4) Gets the error message “You did not select a file to upload.”

This happens every time, both on my local installation and on the production installation in Safari, Chrome and FireFox on OS X but not in Opera. This is very annoying. The workaround is to go to another section of the control panel and the click back. Reload of the page doesn’t reset whatever causing this. It doesn’t matter if I choose a different upload directory for each file.

This also happens when using the file manager inside an entry form. Sometimes the error message doesn’t show and the spinning wheel just keeps on spinning. Pressing the upload button seems to cancel the whole than and choosing a new file uploads the file that couldn’t be uploaded.

What’s different in Opera is that the file upload field isn’t blank between the uploads. The last uploaded file url is always visible in the file upload field on Opera.

Using v2.1.0 Build 20100810. All browsers are of latest stable release.

Anyone else having the same problems? Or a solution that doesn’t include “use another browser”. This is for client, using OSX and Safari and Firefox and are happy with that since they are two of the very best browsers out there.

    Thanks in advance
