    Planet/EE is preparing a Structure-ready release that will recognize the Structure page URLs. We need to find a couple of site owners that can test this against a well-populated Structure-based site.  Participants that provide helpful feedback will receive a free module license and our eternal thanks 😊

    Maybe I’m misunderstanding something, but what is it the module does with Structure or the Pages module URLs that the following code doesn’t do? (within search results)

    {if page_url != ''}
    <a href="http://{page_url}">{title}</a>
    {if:else}
    <a href="http://{auto_path}">{title}</a>
    {/if}

    The page_url variable is not being passed to the template in the current module version so the conditional would fail.  There is a workaround listed on our FAQ page, but it is a clumsy embed. The beta version for next release automatically identifies Structure and sets auto_path to the correct URI.

    The Structure readiness has passed field tests and continues to be tested for inclusion in next release.  We are also adding category variables that are currently not returned or used by the Core EE module.  Target for release is this month.

    trenchard -

    I submitted a support request to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) 7 days ago (and sent another request about 5 days ago) regarding Search Results 1.2, but I can’t seem to get anyone to respond to me.

    I’m hoping that adding a response in this thread will get someone’s attention.

    Thanks,
    Frank

    Frank,

    I apologize about that.  We just discovered an issue with our Planet/EE mail services.  Fixes are in progress now and the emails will start flowing again.  I’m happy to help you personally if you PM me here.

    It was a pleasure.  I’m sorry the email was broken.  It appears to still be having an issue, but the admins are looking at it.

    Ibn,

    I think we answered this via email, but I’ll post here that we don’t offer this within the tag pair now, but have something planned for a future release that will include a variable and some dynamic <span>ing or <mark>ing for the terms found on the target pages.

    In the meantime the built-in search results EE tag will work in the search results template.

    The ability to sort results by any field, and in random order, makes this add-on look very appealing. Look forward to trying it out on an upcoming project!

    Hello Mark

    Is it compatible with EE 2.3 ?

    Any plans on releasing a new version ?
