Template Code Will Not "Stick" When Updating

I am trying to update several templates and it seems the new code is not “sticking”.

    Here’s what’s wrong:

I just found that several of my pages are not displaying correctly in IE 7 and IE 8.  So I fixed the code on a test template, then cut and paste the code into the original template—- but the changes will not show in the original template.

    Example:

The following 2 pages have EXACTLY the same code, copy and pasted.

    Displaying Correctly In IE: http://www.motivationtomove.com/tools/index3

NOT Displaying Correctly In IE: http://www.motivationtomove.com/tools/index

It appears on the surface to be a CSS or other coding issue, yet the templates have EXACTLY the same code, so it doesn’t make sense.

Yes - I’ve tried clearing all of my cache in my browsers.
No - the templates preferences do not allow caching.

This problem is occurring on several pages, and in other pages a work-around solution so far has been to delete the original template and create a replacement with the new code. This works.

BUT - as you can see in the example above, I am now having this issue with an “index” page. I cannot delete and index page in order to replace it.  So I’m stuck.

Even more odd - the code in the “broken” CAN be updated for example if I change a word in the text, so the code seems to be ‘sticking’ to some extent—yet the stylized display of the actual page is still broken.

Any ideas how to fix this?

    Thank you!

    Hi Carlyn,

As far as I can tell those two pages are exactly the same. I can’t find any errors. Have you tried this with other browsers to rule out any local browser caching issues?

    Cheers

    Greg
