    Hi everybody,

I was wondering what do you use to track entry views (excepting native EE variables, which cannot be used on cached pages)? More of the same, did anybody of you use Solspace Tracker module and found alternative for EE2?

Tracker is great module, yet it’s not compatible with EE2 and there is no ETA for this as well. I’m forced to look for another way to track my entries.

    Suggestions are sincerely welcome! 😊

Dimitar - did you consider trying with relaxed_track_views?

Mm no, thanks, Lisa. Does it do the trick with tracking views on cached pages?

It bypasses things like the Query Caching.  For full on template caching, I believe you may still miss some hits.  I’d recommend giving it a try and seeing.

You could always use something like GA, Mint, or other professional stats package.  These usually have a way to see information by URL, which effectively can act as a hit tracker.

Thanks, I’ll try it out. I have analytics tool, yet I still need to order entries by tracked views.
