    Hello.
I recently migrated my site from one hosting company to another host (Network Solutions). For some reason the site is really slow to load now.  Basically, it appears to take a while before the page is rendered. This didn’t happen before I migrated the site.

I’ve read the optimize your EE installation section, but to no success. Is there any way you all could help me test to make sure it’s not the EE installation itself?

I can provide control panel info and any else you need.

    Thanks!

Not all hosts are equal, unfortunately; some are simply better suited to hosting dynamic system like PHP. What version and build are you using? When you turn on template debugging, how long does it to render a typical page?

Ingmar, I tried to load a page and it took 8.5 seconds to load and there isn’t much “large” content, such as images, video, etc.  Can I send you the domain name?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. The hosting is Network Solutions shared hosting solution.

Thanks Ingmar. I need to resolve this soon as the client really is getting hounded be their users.

    Cheers,

    M

Have you turned on Template Debugging? Can you paste the output here?

    Ingmar,
I’ve installed EE 2 now to see if that speeds things up. It seems to be faster on my machine, but I need to see how fast it is for my client. If that doesn’t work, I’ll paste the output here.

    Thanks!
