I’m using the code in the attached screenshot to display archives.  I have a conditional setup to set the currently viewed month to the “current” class.  This conditional works fine for each month except September and I can’t figure out why that would be.

By the way, I’m displaying the code as a screenshot because when I posted the code within the “code” tags, the IF statements were stripped away.

    Geoff,

I’d say because you have show_future_entries set to no. Try changing that to yes
Do you have any month showing after August?

    John-

Thanks for the tip, but it didn’t change anything. Yes, there are months showing after September.  Again, my problem is that the A tag is not being set to the “current” class — for that month only.  I’ve attached two screenshots.  The first one is when I’m viewing the month of October (URL = .../media/news_archives/2009/10/), the second when I’m viewing September (URL = .../media/news_archives/2009/09/).

    Hi Geoff, a couple questions:

    1. Can we confirm the version and build you’re using?
    2. If you’re using extensions, please also disable those during testing.
    3. Have you tried that bit of template code in a template by itself?
    4. Does playing with the limit parameter have any affect?

    Hi Brandon–

    1.  1.6.8 (I know, I need to upgrade)
    2.  Tried disabling extensions.
    3.  I put the code in it’s own template, with only a link to the CSS file.
    4.  No

Thank you for the tips.  I think at this point I’m going to leave it as is.  My original thought was that my code was incorrect, but if that’s not the case then it’s a pretty minor glitch that I can live with.  I’ll try upgrading next week and see if that has any affect.
