I am about to begin working on a new website and there is a portion that needs to work with a legacy job service web app.  This web app requires a template to reside in a specific location and it can’t use any dynamic code.  What I’d like to be able to do is create a template group to manage this template so any navigation changes, etc are done centrally then a rendered version of this file can be saved out and copied over to the web app server for it to use.  Is this possible with EE?  What plug-ins, if any, would I need to get this to work?

Maybe check Soslapce’s static page caching which can cache an entire page to a file on your server:

Thanks.  This appears to be an EE1 add-on but since this capability is pretty important to the site I might just have to settle on using EE1 for the rest of the site.
