Is there an "Editor" alternative?

    Hi,

    I have a new client site built in EE 2.1. I have an older site that uses Brandon Kelly’s “Editor”. It is an extension that when logged in, places an icon on the front end of the site that links an article back to it’s page in the control panel. Makes it pretty easy for a client to find a page that needs editing.

    Anyhow he is not writing a new version for EE2.

    Does anybody know of an alternative that will work with EE2?

    Thanks.

    This is pretty easy to do manually with something like this in your template within weblog:channel tags

    {if logged_in_group_id == "1"}
    <a href="/admin.php?S=0&D=cp&C=content_publish&M=entry_form&channel_id={channel_id}&entry_id={entry_id}">Edit</a>
    {/if}
