We created an entry w/ “/sitemap/” as the page URI; however, it’s giving us a 404 when we try to access the page from http. However, we can change the URI to pretty much any other text (including adding a folder name before it, such as “/folder/sitemap/”), and it works just fine.

What is going on here, and how do we get the “/sitemap/” URI to work?

    ssebner,

What version and build of EE are you using?
    Are you using any extensions?
Are you removing index.php via htaccess?

What does the full URL look like? Something like this?

    http://www.mydomain.com/index.php/template_group/tempalte/entry_title

Or are you using the Pages Module?

Do you have a folder in your root directory called sitemap?

Thanks- It turned out to be an issue w/ the script that was removing index.php from the URL string.
