On a particular member group, you’re allowed to choose whether you want to allow the group to post to particular channels.

Is there an option, or a way, to allow a group or a specific user to have authorization for individual entries instead of a channel? For example I have a channel called “chapters” and have 5 entries, I would want 1 member to have control over each entry instead. What I know so far, I would have to create 5 different channels and different groups for each members so they could manage the individual entries - but this would get too complicated.

    Thanks in advance!

One possible solution would be to set “Can edit entries authored by others” in their user group to NO, and then assign the specific individual as the author of the entry in question.
