    Okay, thanks Brandon - that fixed it. Everything appears to be in place.  The Control Panel is now showing as it should.
    Odd thing however, the green buttons aren’t showing - the ones for creating new template groups, new Weblogs, etc, you know, the buttons in upper right. I can see a white-ish button and shadow text but that’s about it, see the attached image.

    Odd thing not to have showing. Any clues? We’re 98% there, I want to close this down!

    Do you have ..../themes/cp_global_images, too? Permissions are correct?

    Yes, I have that. Permissions were 775, set to 777.
    I overwrote existing folder with fresh from my machine, set the proper permissions. Flushed my cache as well. Still no luck.

    It would really be nice if I didn’t have to wait a full day for replies. I understand you all are busy but still it’s getting frustrating.

    pychap,

    In your config file change

    $conf['theme_folder_url'] = 'http://www.creativepy.com/themes/';

    to

    $conf['theme_folder_url'] = 'http://www.creativepy.com/system/themes/';

    to reflect where you just moved your theme folder. The images should be correctly referenced then

    Added path modification, that didn’t work.

    Further, I deleted the entire Theme’s folder, re-uploaded it and no luck. BTW, the permissions are 775, I assume that’s correct. And now, I don’t have any styles at all in my Control Panel. Sh&*T!

    I’d like to try changing the name of the system folder, I’ve used the same from the prior host and I wonder if that is what is causing problems as I’ve been accessing both from the same browser. To change system folder name, do I just change the names in the config.php file? Anywhere else?

    Pete,

    your server path was incorrect. Once I changed it to /home/creativepy/www/www/themes/ the theme appeared straight away.

    Can you now confirm everything is ok?

    The site is working, CP panel is there, and the buttons are now showing.
    Everything is GREAT!!
    Thank you for looking into it.
    Looking forward to migrating to 2.x but wanted all to be well before I did that.
    Let’s close this down & thanks again to all, much appreciated.
