Hello all and fellow programmers 😊

On my admin panel (EE 2.1), I would like to upload a picture (who have for example : a default dimension of 640 X 480 px), and transform it to a special dimension by simply choosing a part of this picture (crop on it or just positionning into the desired dimensions - ex : 150px X 150px).

Does this functionnality with a plugin/module exists ? I guess the answeer is yes 😉 but i’ve not finished my request :

Well, secondary, i would like to see this uploaded picture been converted in Black And White picture. How can i do that ? (Does a module for this exist, or even a Javascript function)?

Then, last but not least, I would like to generate, on the fly, for this picture, a pattern (same dimension of the modified pictures) associated with it (exemple : a watermark on the photo, or a simple pattern repeated on the picture).

So here is a brief sum up of the process :

Upload RGB/CMJN Picture then possibility to Resize it -› then possibility to Transform to Black and White picture -› then possibility to Apply Pattern on the Black and White picture.

Is it possible to do it or to programm it, threw a module, plugin, or javascript ?

    Thanks
    Best

    Hi Crem’

I think you’re wright, it’s about an extension.
I’m testing out some of them these days, so if i find the good one before you do, i’ll let you know.
