I’m not sure if this is a bug.

    How to reproduce
Create a new entry with the title with a ‘+’ sign somewhere
Entry is created and ‘+’ successfully displays
Edit the entry (notice that the ‘+’ is now missing)
    Save the entry

    What is expected
    Title should not be changed.

    What happens
Title is now missing the ‘+’, presumably because the display on the edit page screws up.

I haven’t tested for other characters, but is this a bug? Or is there a white/black list somewhere where ‘+’ signs are being excluded?

    Thanks.

Hi, Tinkerbox. I can replicate the problem on my 2.10 install. Can you please post this to the EE 2.x BugList with a link to this post, and respond back here with a link to the bug report?

This problem is causing me serious grief with a client site; can you tell us how to patch it?

Hi, Travis. I’ll ask Derek if he has any more information. Thanks in advance for your patience.
