I have an EE 1.6.8 installation who’s control panel is not displaying the theme properly. It’s possible that the host (Media Temple) has moved this site to a different server. I have had themes break in the past when I migrated the site and did not have the correct path to the theme folder. I have triple checked the general configurations settings and they are definitely correct. To make sure I checked the themes root path through both an FTP client and the MT control panel. It is definitely correct.

Interestingly, the only images that show up on the cp pages are:
    themes/cp_global_images/edit_quicklinks.png
    themes/cp_global_images/ee_logo_sm.gif

all the rest are MIA - they are not even in the html code. The missing images exist in their proper folders. They have permissions of 644 and the containing folders have permissions of 755. The cp pages are also missing their CSS files.

I have also renamed the site index file to about.php. I have attached a screen shot of the cp settings.

    Any ideas?

There is some troubleshooting info for unstyled pages. Does any of that help?

The folder and files are there. There is “no value” for open_basedir.

    Hi Eric,

Can you navigate directly to any of the images in the themes/cp_global_images directory and view it in the browser?

    Cheers

    Greg
