I am getting the following error when I navigate to “Content > File Manager” after updating to the latest EE 2.1.0 build 20100810 build from 2.1.0 build 20100720.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function ellipsize() in /systempath/expressionengine/models/tools_model.php on line 533

I am also unable to browse image uploads from the publish pages, yet I can use the control panel interface to upload a new image without any problem.

I made sure I updated following the EE documentation as well as updating my cp_themes files.

Has anyone else encountered this? Any thoughts on a solution? Any help would be appreciated.

That function should be present if all of EE’s files are intact. I’d suggest performing a build update to ensure you’ve got all of the latest files on the server.

Also make sure to clear your browser cache before logging back in. Let us know if that helps.
