I realize I now that I need to purchase multiple licenses for my sites. I’m hoping this will solve my problem?

I have two sites with separate servers and databases. I used the same commercial license number for each install and the general configuration and the template changes I’m making for an individual site somehow appear on the other separate site when I hit save even though I made the change in a completely separate admin.

If I purchase separate license numbers, will this solve my problem?

    margaret1985,

Yes you will need to have a separate license for each instance of EE you put live.

You can however develop a site in freedom before applying the license.

I would double check your database settings in each of your sites system/config.php
It sounds like they might be using the same database

Oh wow, what an oversight on my part. That was exactly it. Thank you so much. My client will be purchasing an additional license before we go live.
