Im using EE2.1.0 and Pixel and Tonics Matrix product, if I create the gallery demo, I get the above error…..

I have found this on the web:

as I understand EE uses this, am I correct in assuming that this is the cause of the error??

How do I go about fixing this? as surely if I edit the files myself then it may mess up any EE upgrades in the future?

This question would be better put to Pixel and Tonic, as unfortunately we cannot support third-party add-ons or core hacks.

I have put it to them, but I would suggest that this is not a core hack, but a bug!!!

As Brandon says please contact Pixel and Tonic about this issue. The article you referenced is quite old and does not apply to EE 2.1.0.
