Recently I am having problems updating my templates and uploading photos.

The upload is no longer performed and due to this, the web-page appears blank.

I haven’t made any changes to any settings or other technical definitions.

I am using version 1.6.4 of EE and till recently all worked perfectly.

Any idea? Hope somebody can help.

    Hi, Hans.

You’re waaayy behind version wise. You may want to consider upgrading to the most recent 1.x version.

Double check that you aren’t running out of room on your server. That’s the first place I’d look.

    Does that help?

    Hi Sue,

I know of the older version. However as I am (was) happy to what my version delivered I did not pay much attention to updating. This morning I downloaded 1.6.9 and am now looking into how to update.

As I am not the tech expert I get nervous looking at the things to do. Is there a support function for such updating process??

Now you will really know that I am not the tech expert. Where and how can I check the remaining available server space??

Take a look at my signature… One of the links is to the docs for upgrading. As far as figuring out how much disk space you have left, your host should be able to help.

Will do that and ask my hosting provider!

Docs found and will look into them.

The topic can be closed. I updated templates yesterday through another internet connection and all worked perfectly. I need to have my own internet connection checked.

Glad you were able to figure out what the problem was. Don’t hesitate to post again as needed.
