The documentation states that he user must visit within two days to activate their account.

Is this 2 calendar days, or 48 hours?

In other words, if a user registers at 1:00am on 1/1, will they have until midnight on 1/3 (71 hours) to activate, or will their opportunity expire at 1:00am on 1/3 (48 hours)?

    Thanks!

During our testing phase, we were able to validate an account that was over 72 hours.

The email was received to validate on 8/18 at 10:51 AM.
The activation link was clicked on 8/21 around 11:30 AM.
    The link activated the account.

We are developing messaging and also using cookies in our setup, and it would be helpful to know exactly how long the activation link will be valid.

Please confirm how long the user has to activate once receiving the email, or let us know if this is a bug in our system. We are using EE 1.6.9.

Hi ssebner, are you using any extensions? If so, please disable extensions during testing and let us know if that has any affect.
