Hi guys,
This is a bit of a random question… I’ve been looking into Aptana recently as a dev environment…. I checked out the company pages (http://www.aptana.com/company) and on WIkipedia it says that the company has over 25 staff (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aptana)....
But…..How does Aptana actually make money?
Anyway…..random question and just curious if any of you have any hunches or know more about Aptana.

Aptana does a lot more than just building an IDE.
The IDE is linked to their cloud services, they idea being that you publish your projects to their cloud to run them. For a fee.
