i endorse this product:
https://flattr.com/support/plugins
an EE plugin would probably be a good idea.
thank you.

this is what i have found out so far - through the help of steve dennis, http://www.subcide.com
0.what is flattr? https://flattr.com/
1. ask for and receive invitation - https://flattr.com/register/beta
2. register yr. account
3. Include the one line of basic javascript you find following the link in yr ee-template:
For you coders, the JavaScript button has the following general code:
https://flattr.com/support/integrate
4. Submit an entry - manual, at the moment.

pls share yr thoughts on this great product.

and again, a tech-savvy developer could do magic on this one …
—-
Questions:
1. How to automate entry submission?
2. How to hide flattr-button from non-submitted (inactive) content?
tk you.

Update:
{!--{if segment_3 == "237" OR segment_3 == "184"}<div class=“flattr”>[removed][removed]</div>{/if}—}
For automated submissions this code seems to work:
<div class=“flattr”>[removed]
var flattr_btn = ‘basic’;
var flattr_uid = ‘27171’;
var flattr_tle = ‘{title} / {photo-caption}’;
var flattr_dsc = ‘iPhone Polaroids - by Thomas Winterstetter, Strategy Consultant’;
var flattr_cat = ‘images’;
var flattr_lng = ‘en_GB’;
var flattr_tag = ‘photo, photography, germany’;
var flattr_url = ‘https://flattr.com/27171/’;
var flattr_hide = ‘false’;

So, is anyone using flattr in an EE site? I tried, but it works only some of the time.
