    Hi,

is there a possibility to change the content of

    https://ellislab.com/asset/images/team-photo/

? My site was moved after uploading all images for the entries. Now I see that the code is still displaying the old url for the images. I need to replace that.

    Many thanks,
    Michel

You mean you want to change the default upload location?

    Hi Ingmar,

not really. But I have uploaded lots of images already, server and path have changed. An dif I look in the code, my old path is still showing. So I’ll need to change that somehow. In the db, I see {fildir_1}, so it is looking at that variable. Is it possible to chenge the value of that https://ellislab.com/asset/images/team-photo/ for exisiting uploads?

Yes, you’ll have to change the file upload location.

I did that already, but no effect :-(

Could there be some caching somewhere, keeping the old path?

Possible, you might want to clear your caches. This is all assuming that your upload paths are not actually hardcoded somewhere.

Strange thing is that some picture are visible on the site. Does that sound familiar? So I guess the path is fine, right? I’ve cleared all cahce, but no solution. Do you have another idea, please?

Do you’ve got a a link? Wat exactly do you mean by “some picture are visible on the site”? Some are, some are not, is that what you’re saying?

    Not visible: http://php5.capitalbrussels.eu/index.php/site/vespa-modellen
    Visible: http://php5.capitalbrussels.eu/index.php/site/nieuws-archive

They are from the same weblog.

A possible issue is that the new path is now a framed forward.

    Many thanks,
    Michel

    Michel,

If you edit the weblog entry, does it contain any hard-coded image paths?

    Hi,

    No, it’s {fieldir_1}/images/path.

    Thx for helping,
    Michel

    Hi Michel,

What is the relationship between http://www.piaggio-vespa.capitalbrussels.eu and http://php5.capitalbrussels.eu? It looks like this is a DNS issue because one of your links is this: http://www.piaggio-vespa.capitalbrussels.eu/images/uploads/s-black.jpg. If I change that to http://php5.capitalbrussels.eu/images/uploads/s-black.jpg then the image displays correctly. Which one is supposed to be the live site?

    Cheers

    Greg

The php5 is the live site. All links should use that url. But the domain piaggio-vesoa.capitalbrussels.eu is frame-forwarded by the host ;-|
