I hate to ask, but is anyone ever going to get around to producing this- for free?

Seriously, the reason that Mike Boyink charges for his tutorial screencasts is that it costs him time and effort to do it, and work—in the real world—costs money.

The ExpressionEngine documentation is really good, actually, and should be sufficient for anyone. But if you don’t want to read the documentation and want others to do your work for you, that costs money.

Boyink does have some free screencasts which are pretty good, and his book for EE 1.x was distributed for free earlier this summer as well. There’s a lot of free help available.

I’ve actually got my hand on Ryan’s screencasts for FREE now. So I think I ought to be okay now.
