Hi - I’m trying to figure out why email comment notifications for a weblog keep going to the wrong person. User x created the weblog posts, and is currently receiving all the notification emails. User y should be receiving them, though, so I went to weblog preferences and, under notification preferences, set

Enable recipient list below for comment and trackbacks notification?

to yes. Then I set

Email Address of Notification Recipient(s)

to the addresses it was supposed to go to, but it didn’t go to them. Then I set them to my own email address, and still didn’t get them. Then I created a new post, to see if I would get notified if I posted a new entry, and I got nothing. Am I missing something? Is there somewhere else these things are set?

Also, it seems to be ignoring my preferences for “allow comments in this weblog” and “moderate comments”.

1. Which version and build of EE are you using?
2. Can you reproduce this issue with extensions disabled (via the green button in the Extension Manager?)

Also, just a note, the comment and trackbacks notification shouldn’t fire when a new entry is created, only when comments/trackbacks are posted to the entry.
