I’ve been trying to hash this out on paper and I’ve come up empty.

I’m trying to create a product attribute filter similar to this: http://bit.ly/aOlWPX  That basically allows you to filter products based on multiple attributes. So, if you start on the scooters/skates page, you can then filter down by price, brand or rating.

I’ve been basing the filter attributes as sub-categories (and using parent categories to organize the products themselves), but perhaps different channels for each product and then categories as attributes may be the way to go?

In any case, anyone have any thoughts or ideas on how to approach this in EE?

[EDIT] I should note that while I am referring to products, this is not an e-commerce site. More like a catalog.

    Thanks!

Hey Angie - I did this sort of thing with two levels - sounds like you need more but maybe some help there.

Also ping @thetristan as he was doing something similar a week or so back.

Mike - that’s beautiful; exactly what I need.  Hoping the client doesn’t add a third or fourth level though. 😊 Thanks!! (and clearly I need to follow your site much more closely)
