    I just did a fresh 2.1 install (using code I downloaded yesterday from your site), and it worked great.  I could log in and everything was fine.  I then copied over the MSM php files and then when I went into the admin to enable multiple sites, and now I can’t log in any more.

    I get:

    An Error Was Encountered
    Unable to load the requested file: account/login.php

    I’ve since deleted the MSM php files and have set

    $config['multiple_sites_enabled'] = "n";

    but I still can’t log in, and I get the same error as above.

    I’m stuck…

    John, first I’d recommend:

    1. Overwriting /index.php on your site with /index.php from the download package (edit it to set your system folder name appropriately)

    2. Overwrite /system/index.php on your site with /system/index.php from the download package (do not edit this)

    If there’s still no change, try adding this to your /system/expressionengine/config/config.php file:

    $config['theme_folder_path'] = '/themes/';

    Keep us posted.

    OK, it was the third change that did it.  Almost like when I turned MSM on, that line disappeared, maybe?

    So, adding the following to the config.php fixed it:

    $config['theme_folder_path'] = '/themes/';

    Thanks for the help!!!!

    John, changes to the host configuration might necessitate that line, though it generally isn’t required. Glad that worked for you - don’t hesitate with further questions.
