I built a news-system with a comment-form, captcha ect with EE core 1.6.9. everything is working fine but i’m not able to see the entries of the comments in the backend—>edit—>searching for comments.

i tried several things an i’m pretty sure that i coded correctly, but the comments do not show up. All i get is «There are no entries matching the criteria you selected», event though every comment appears in the frontend.

where are the comments stored? maybe some writting rights i have to set?
    any help appreciated.

where are comments stored in the backend?

they show up in the frontend but do not in the backend-edit-show comments.

Just go into your edit page and the comments column should have number next to it - alternatively, if you’ve not changed anything on the front page, there should be ‘most recent comments, on there to link through
