How to post Javascript-Sourcecode in weblog-entrys?

I want to post some codesnippets in my Weblog. So far it worked fine, but when i´m trying to post some JavaScript-Code ExpressionEngine prevent displaying the Code on my Site (for security reasons probably).

Is there a way to post JavaScript Sourcecode inside a code-tag?

Have you tried using [ code] ... [/code ] tags?
