I have recently installed MSM and was not observant about which category group I deleted. I deleted the categories in my original site that has 500 entries! I can recreate the category names, but it will not assign the original ID to it which means I will have to go into each article and update (I think). I know it says that the delete cannot be undone, but is there anything I can do short of touching all the entries?? I do have backups of the database.
Help, please!
PS - I still see the categories when I browse the MySQL database.
