I have so many freelance clients, all with different EE login data, different hosting username and passwords, different…. well you get the idea.
It has gotten unmanageable. When I need to look up some hosting or login info for a client, I don’t want to have to lug out my laptop and open my giant spreadsheet. So I came up with the idea of creating a channel on my personal site with custom fields that store all of this data. Then I could put the page that displays this data behind a login, and I could simple open a web browser wherever I am and look up the info that I need.
My question, is this too much of a risk to my clients to have this data in my site’s database, or is EE secure enough that this would be an acceptable solution? Thanks.
