I need help before it gets worse. I’ve been getting spam comments on my blog even though I’m using the captcha feature. Does anyone know how to avoid this? The captcha feature seems not be working properly. Example below:

    Thanks!

    Juliano,

You can take a look at the Advanced CAPTCHA plugin, but keep in mind a CAPTCHA won’t prevent human spammers, which is probably what you’re running into. You may want to start moderating comments.

I’ll take a look at the advanced captcha plugin. Do you think it’s a human spammer? It’s a lot of work but i guess there are a lot of people with nothing to do. Thanks!

    Juliano,

you may well find some more alternatives in the battle against spam in devot-ee. Use ‘spam’ as a keyword and it will return some more options for you.

Very good. Let us know if there’s anything else we can do.

No documentation on the advanced captcha?

It’s a simple extension, you install it like any other. If you want to further modify its output the code shouldn’t be too hard to figure out.
