I am trying to make a summary page of employees with in a segment_2 (http://www.example.com/about_us/meet_the_team). I then use a url_title to access the full bio of employees so it looks like (http://www.example.com/about_us/meet_the_team/joe_smith). When I do this it works fine but going form segment 2 to segment 3 a different dynamic weblog (that I keep consistently on each page in a side column) disappears no matter what kind of workaround I have thought of. Please let me know if there is something I am doing wrong or can correct the issue.

i’d imagine someone is going to ask you to post some code for the template.

    airmarketing,

Welcome to the forums! Have you tried adding the dynamic=“off” parameter to the weblog tag for your side column?

    Brandon,

Would it be dynamic=“off” or dynamic=“no”? EE 1.x is the former but in the new docs for EE 2.x, it’s supposed to be the latter. But I’ve tried it and it’s not working for me…

If you’re using EE 1.x then it’ll be “off”.

Also, probably not the answer you’re looking for, but I just started a project where I have to have content three levels deep (domain.com/content1/content2/content3) so I figured it was a really good time to check out Stucture.

    Sprocketeer,

EE 1.x is the former but in the new docs for EE 2.x, it’s supposed to be the latter.

That is true but you have posted in the EE1.x technical support forum. Can you confirm what version and build of EE you are using please?

Can you post the template code relative to your issue please
