Our new EE learning/resources site Creat-ee.com presents its first webinar, Introduction to ExpressionEngine 2.0.

During the free webinar, Jae will go over the basic setup, fundamental concepts, and some of the powerful ideas that can be implemented using EE, using real-world examples from past and current projects.

Aimed primarily at designers, developers, and site owners new to ExpressionEngine, you’ll find that many of the features and improvements put EE in the very short list of content management platforms for your next website.

Awesome! I’ve added this to our events page.  Please consider adding any future events there yourself. =)

Thanks Lisa. Will do in the future. Now I am also offering an 8-session (this one is fee-based) course on EE. Where should it go?

I thought of suggesting a separate topic (next to Events) that is called something like “Training” or “Learning”, as it doesn’t quite fit into others. What do you think Lisa?

You can add it in events, just put the start date as the event date.  We may expand the display as needed; there are categories, they’re just not in use right now.  We’ll review that as we have more events coming in.

Just include in the description that it’s an 8 week event, it should work out just fine. =)

Great! So far the response has been very good - mostly freelancers and SMB owners in NYC.

You know Lisa I tell the story of how we decided to focus exclusively on EE and stop taking any work on Drupal, Joomla (although they certainly have tons of merits of their own), and their ears perk up, even if they have not yet heard of EE. Still one of the best decisions we’ve made as a company.

    Hi Lisa,

Just found a typo on the Events - is there a way to edit the entries posted on the Events page? Specifically, the EE course runs from Aug. 3rd to Aug. 26, not Aug. 3rd to Aug. 4th.

    Thanks!

    Lisa,

Thanks again for making Events so prominent on the new EE site. We’ve had a FULL webinar yesterday with a dozen+ on the waiting list.

Just posted a second webinar on the same topic, this time on Aug. 11th. It was a lot of fund and the response has been terrific!
