    Hello,

I seem to have a issue with ‘Add file’ not displaying to IE8 users from the control panel, while creating an entry which has a file field. The file field is the last item on the entry form.

Safari/FF/Chrome seem unaffected. My main workstation (which had VMware) died a few days ago, so I still don’t have access to IE8 for full testing.

    Has anyone seen this before?

    Thanks for your time.

Edit: Just wanted to add that I created a new field group with only the file field to test. Same result in IE8.

    TrevC,

What version and build of EE are you using?
    Are you using any add-ons?
Is this a fresh install or an upgrade from a previous version?

    Hi John,

Fresh install of 2.0 PB commercial with MSM.

Where is the build number shown?

    Plugins: ImageSizer, List Maker
    Field-types: Wygwam, WYMeditor, Low Reorder
    Extensions: CP Analytics
    Modules: Low Reorder, NavEE

    TrevC,

Where is the build number shown?

You can find both the version and build in your CP footer.

    I can’t replicate I’m afraid using IE8

Is this a saved custom Publish Layout?

Forgot I’d removed the build number form the CP theme!:) We’re on 20100430 here.

FYI, all of the testing is done on the ‘default’ theme, even though the changes I made to the CP theme were very minimal.

This is only happening for IE8? All other browsers working fine?
