when I try to publish something I get this error:

    A Database Error Occurred
    Error Number: 1146
    Table 'ee.exp_pages_configuration' doesn't exist
    SELECT `configuration_value` FROM (`exp_pages_configuration`) WHERE `configuration_name` = 'template_channel_1' AND `site_id` = '1'

    what should I do?

I’d contact the Structure author- and/or check their docs.  The add-on relies on the page’s module’s field in the database, but should take care of making sure it’s created.

That said- I SUSPECT just installing ‘Pages’ would be enough to make it work w/ Structure enabled.  That- or simply adding the field manually.  But I’m doing a bit of guessing there.

    Make sense?

    thank you for the reply,

but how stated in structure’s instructions: “Make sure the native EE Pages module is not installed, uninstall if not”

    ...I just contacted the authors

Argh- sorry, I guessed wrong.  Installing pages creates that field.  Since structure sort of ‘takes over’ that field- you presumably can’t use pages.  But I thought they might allow it for purposes of field creation.  This is definitely one you’ll need to talk to the authors about.  Checking the docs might help- for example, if there’s a module- you might have to uninstall the module, uninstall pages- then reinstall the module (to have the table field created).  But I’m purely guessing on this one.  The error itself is purely related to the third party add on, and I’m just not up on it enough to say for sure.
