I get this error message when trying to attach a file in my forums:
Error Message: The uploaded file exceeds the maximum allowed size in your PHP configuration file
What file is this that I need to modify?

This is a setting that your host will be able to help you with. The change is made in the configuration for PHP.
You could try and increase it yourself by adding the following to a .htaccess file in your root
php_value upload_max_filesize 10MIf not comfortable with that then ask your host.
