Hi everyone, I have a website that uses EE for administration of content, the issue is this, when I make an update of some content the EE does the change, but if I back to the front end of my site it shows an error.

    MySQL ERROR:
    Error Number: 1146
    Description: Table 'brokerde_bddbrokernegocios.exp_global_variables' doesn't exist
    Query: SELECT variable_name, variable_data FROM exp_global_variables WHERE site_id = '1' AND user_blog_id = '0'

And it is solved just if I delete manually the cookies or close the browser. Please i need to solve this, ASAP, i will appreciate your help.
    Thanks in advance.

What version and build are you using? Any extensions?

  • #3 / Jun 29, 2010 5:39pm

Thanks for the answer. Im using ExpressionEngine v 1.6.7. I think it has no extensions.
Also when I log in in EE it shows this error:
Notice: unserialize() [function.unserialize]: Error at offset 104370 of 104372 bytes in /home/brokerde/public_html/system/plugins/pi.magpie.php on line 1727.

    Hi Webmaster esDinamico,

First, from the EE Control Panel, please go to Admin ›  Utilities ›  Extensions Manager and click the large green ‘Disable Extensions?’ button in the upper right.

And it is solved just if I delete manually the cookies or close the browser.

Do you mean that clearing your browser’s cookies and cache does not change anything?

I had (Tiny MCE enabled), I disabled it and the problem persist.
What a tried to explain is when I edit some entry in EE, then I go to the frontend of the website and it shows that mysql error I mention before.
So what I do, is delete cookies and then I can enter the frontend normally.
But I think that I should perform updates without having to clearing browser’s cookies everytime a make a change. Right?
    Thanks for your help.!

    Webmaster esDinamico,

Please follow these instructions carefully. Of course, backup all files and your database before you begin.

Hi everyone, Im trying to solve my problem with EE, but I have not succeded.
I want to solve some problems with EE and Mysql, you suggested me to upgrade EE, and I also decided change the hosting of this site, so I im migrating from one server to another but i has been really difficult, because I cant find a manual that explain me how to do that, I already installed EE that is the new version in my new server but when I try to upload the database backup, It gives me so many errors beacuse the tables has changed.
And I dont now if Im supossed to copy all the files from the other server to the new one or If I just have to upload the database.
    Any help will be appreciate!!!

OK. On the old server, take a look at the database. Does it have a table ‘exp_global_variables’?

  • #15 / Jul 26, 2010 8:11pm
