    Hey forum,

I just got a message from a new client that the deal’s on. It’s going to be a big project with several modules like; user module, PM system, forums etc. So I want to be able to edit existing modules and add my own code, classes and in which the CodeIgniter framework together with EE would work fine!

Now my dilemma is, can I risk it by developing the website with the 2.0 beta? What do you guys recommend? I absolutely want to use EE for this project. I want to be able to develop my own modules with CodeIgniter but that is available only with 2.0..

    Your thoughts please!

    Many thanks in advance,

Maybe this will help clear out the doubt:

Thank you 😊 I just installed EE 2.0 BETA on the server!

Do you personally use it for websites you design? How have you been experiencing it all?

Kangaroo, i’ve been using ee2.0 since November ish and as 3rd party add-ons are being ported over it is becoming more and more pleasant to use. It’s on Code Igniter after all 😊
