    Hi,

I have a portfolio and when you select an entry it brings up a new page displaying information about that entry.

Is it possible to show only the current category from a particular category group for that entry?

I use two different category groups with the channel I’m working with.

The best I could achieve so far is a listing of all the category choices within a category group, not just the one that is selected for that entry.

    Thanks in advance.

    jsuissa,

Is that particular entry part of both those Category Groups?

When you talk about showing a category group, is this a category menu that appears on the template where you are showing your single entry?

    Hi,

The two category groups are called “Industries” and “Exhibit Type”, associated with a channel called “portfolio”.

I don’t list either of the categories groups as menu in the template in question. I just show a large photo and information about the selected entry using the entries tag.

What I can’t figure out how to do is show the category “Custom Exhibits” that I’ve chosen on the template, for that particular entry from the category group called “Exhibit Type”.

Thanks for your help with this.

    jsuissa,

Take a look at the {categories} variable pair. Would that do the trick?
