Hello,

I’m new to EE but have much experience dealing with php/html/css and other CMS. I can’t seem to upgrade to 2.0 for some reason. I have a commercial license.

The instructions provided in the docs section are out of date and do not apply to 2.0 as many of the folder names are incorrect. How do you upgrade. Do you simply drag the folders over (making sure of course to rename the system folder)? I tried this approach and it asks me to re-enter all my details for the database and such and then states it will remove everything in the database.

Can you upgrade from an older version to 2.0 or do you have to install from scratch?

Any help would be great.

Really? Are you certain you’re looking at the 2.0 docs?
