    Hi there,

I’ve got comments working fine and can seen that they need to be moderated when I login to the admin but I’m not receiving emails when a comment is posted. I tried a couple different emails as I saw in the docs it doesn’t work if you post from the same email.

I have “Enable recipient list below for weblog entry notification?” turned on and “Email Address of Notification Recipient(s) ” setup with an email address. Running the latest build of 1.6.9, any ideas?

Are you posting logged in? EE won’t notify you of your own mails at all. Try to log out, or use a different user.

Can you send an email to your email address using Communicate?

Do you have a similar setting?

Sue! Please throw a bucket of water on me. Although I have stared at that screen for what seems like hours, when I setting it all up, I was putting the email address in the wrong field! ... Sorry for wasting everyone’s time. Works perfectly now.

Glad you were able to figure out what the problem was. Sometimes screen shots are what make the difference. 😊 Don’t hesitate to post again as needed.
