I have a conference website - very much like EECI conference.
I need to allow a select membergroup to create/edit their own profiles.

I’m after opinions on whether to mask the control panel or jump straight into the SAEF, on the face of it the masked control panel route is far less work for the same outcome.

Anyone have any strong opinion on this?

I prefer SAEF for anyone not directly involved with the administration of the website so that the visitor can be presented a page that looks like the rest of the site and that gives them access to only the things I need them to touch.

    Hello ender,

I agree with only giving access to the things they need to touch. Do you consider it far more work to setup a SAEF and more importantly to me, an edit form?

nope, pretty easy in my opinion. Of course I’ve done plenty of them so I kinda know what to expect now 😊

OK, looks like I’ll give the SAEF route a go then.
