Hi,

Are there any videos advising people on how to go about using Expression Engine?

Prior to EE I was using Expression Web which has a lot of tutorial videos which really helped me.

http://train-ee.com/ by Mike Boyink has some excellent tutorials including some free ones.  I used his building a basic business site when i first learned ee and found it very helpful.  He has since moved on to a full ee training business.  On train-ee you can get screencasts but it is a paid service.  I have never used it but based on his web tutorials I’m sure they would be excellent if video is your prefered medium.

Thanks, but are there any for EE 2.0 specifically? 2.0 seems rather different from the earlier releases…

Didn’t realize you were looking for 2.0 videos.  I haven’t moved over to 2.0 yet as I am still waiting for a couple of key 3rd party extensions to update that i consider crucial to the way i build sites. So im not aware of any specific 2.0 videos.  Sorry.

EE2 isn’t that much different in its usage… You just have to find some of the buttons, but it’s pretty self explanatory most of the time.

You’ll just have to get into the line of thought of the EllisLab folk and you’ll be able to do that just find with some of the tutorials on train-ee.
