In the discussion forum after moving a topic to another forum special characters are changed to their HTML entities. On the webpage this looks okay, but in notification emails the HTML entities are showing.
To replicate:
1. Make a topic with subject “Test subject ???”
2. Subscribe to be notified
3. Move the topic to another forum
4. Reply to the topic as a different user
5. You’ll get an email with subject “Test subject ???”

Odd one- what build/version of both EE and the forum are you running?

We’re using EE 1.6.9 build 20100430 and Discussion Forum Module 2.1.2

Sorry we missed this somehow…. Do you have ‘Automatically Convert High ASCII Text to Entities’ turned on in your settings?
