    Hi,

After migrating my ee build, everything is running fine on the front end. The issue is that I can no longer upload images/files. I have triple check my path configurations, and they are correct. I can’t even insert images present in my uploads folder. The process works fine, but when I hit insert, nothing happens. Another detail here is that I have Wygwam installed. When I click to upload, the input field disappears entirely. When I try to use the WW file browser, I get this error: “The file browser is disabled for security reasons. Please contact your system administrator and check the CKFinder configuration file.”

Site is live so help is urgently required and much appreciated.

    Hi geisterwerker,

Please clarify what you mean by ‘migrating my ee build’. Have you upgraded it, moved it to a new server or perhaps both? Which version and build of EE are you now running?

    Cheers

    Greg

Migrated is the wrong word. I was hosting the build on virtual server. Changed the DNS of the new site to point to the EE install. Changed all the paths to match. Running 1.6.8

    geisterwerker,

Can you confirm that this is only an issue with Wygwam or are you able to upload via the native upload?
Have you the correct paths in your FieldFrame settings. Had this issue before and Brandon recommended using relative paths for these. Also check for differences like having a www present in control panel URL and not in upload directory URL.

Let us know if uploading works natively. If not then I would suggest heading to Brandon’s support which hopefully will resolve your issue.

    HI John,

Thank you for your quick reply. No, the issue carries over into the native uploader. The strange thing is is that there is no error. It just does not pop the image in. If this effects the native uploader is it something that Brandon could help with?

    With thanks,

    G

geisterwerker, one other thing to check is if you are running out of space on the server. Might that be an issue?

    Hi,

It ended up being the URL issue John had mentioned. Problem resolved!

Thank you very much for your help.
