Is it fully supported?  I have it running on win2k3, however, NONE of the extensions or modules I’ve tried to install work.

To start with the extensions, I’ve checked the config file and allow extensions is enabled, I drop the file in the extensions folder, but it doesnt show up in the list.

What am I doing wrong?  I’m beginning to lose my MIND!!

    Trying to install:
    http://www.hopstudios.com/software/deeploy_helper/ (module)
    http://leevigraham.com/cms-customisation/expressionengine/lg-live-look/ (extension)
    http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/65720/P0/ (extension)

Hi, Duane, welcome to the forums!

Yes, as long as your server meets the minimum requirements, then EE should run.  If you’re having trouble with certain extensions or modules, please contact the author of that add-on for assistance.

    1.6.9 minimum requirements
    2.0 minimum requirements

I wish it were just one.  We can’t get ANY of them extensions or modules to work or even show up.

I’d be happy contacting every vendor who supplies a plugin, but at some point, I have to imagine the issue is with our installation and not the plugin itself.  Any ideas where I can figure out what that might be?

    Hi, Duane,

It looks like you’re on EECore so I’m going to shift this down to the EECore community support forums.  If you do have a license, please review the support policy for information on getting full technical support access.

Duane is a developer working on my site. His posts belong on the technical support forum. We never received an answer to this.

Our EE install gets more problematic and troublesome with each passing day so any response that we can get would be appreciated.

    duane,

Can you confirm the version and build of EE you’re using?

Assuming you’re on 1.x, please run our Server Wizard to start with and let us know the results.

We’re now thinking that our problem is having installed EE on a server that has ASP. We were trying to “phase in” EE by pulling up blogs first, then converting a membership area and then the static ASP pages.

Duane can explain our pains better but they’ve been around getting extensions and modules to work and around 404/redirects.

So to clarify EE is installed - there are just problems with getting it to work around the current site.

We still don’t know which version of EE you are working with. Depending on which version, you’d place the extention in a different location.

You can see which version you’re using at then bottom of any control panel page.
