Is it just me or does it look like someone spilled something on the front of the t-shirt EE is giving away?

Its just a teaser, so Leslie has blurred out much of the shirt. I’ve seen it firsthand, and believe me when I tell you its super cool, and doesn’t look like a spill 😉

    a. I was drinking coffee over the final artwork, spilled it, and ruined everything but the logo.

    b. I’m bad at making Photoshop’s Blur filter look cool.

Its one of those, I promise.

    Congrats to Ryan Masuga!!!!
...and shame on EL for not doing it themselves 🐛

Now that there is one central location for addons I can’t help it but to ask…
    1. Will the current add-ons be migrated to Devot-ee?
    2. What ever happened to ‘pro network & add-on certification’?
    Thanks,

    1. Will the current add-ons be migrated to Devot-ee?

No. First party add-ons will remain listed and distributed at ExpressionEngine.com. Devot-ee is specifically for 3rd party Community add-ons.

    2. What ever happened to ‘pro network & add-on certification’?

The Pro Net will undergo a reboot this year. That’s all I can say about it right now.

Add-on certification is unlikely to happen in the way we’ve talked about in the past. We’re committed to establishing ways for individuals and teams to reduce risk to their clients but exploration/research over the last year has shown us that traditional certification is not the best way to do that.

Thank you Leslie, good to know and looking forward to Pro Net news.
If I may suggest, I would reword/remove the ‘temporary’ part and maybe drop a note about Devot-ee? ...just a suggestion is all.
    Thanks again!

Good point. We’ll be updating quite a few areas of our site over the next month and change to point to community partners and help inform people of where to submit add-ons, Showcase entries, etc….

    Devot-ee solves the promotion/centralization of 3rd party add-ons.

However, we do not expect Devot-ee or any 3rd party to review add-on code, etc…. That’s why the add-on page is still open on our site and not closed. We have some details to work out on what EllisLab can provide in terms of code review and if that actually does anything on Devot-ee. But yes, getting an appropriate connection between the ExpressionEngine.com’s add-on page and Devot-ee is definitely in the works.

Likewise on Devot-ee’s side, we’re looking at ways we can education/promote the EE Dev Guidelines and help add-on devs find the appropriate info from EllisLab.

May be off topic but couldn’t see where might be on topic.

I shall be in Leiden for EECI next month and staying back for dev day. Do I need to bring a laptop? If so I need to find suitable mains leads/adaptors as the battery is now entirely useless.
