Your host should be able to provide temporary URLs that don’t hinge on the DNS transfer. Regarding the unstyled control panel, have you seen this KB entry?

I got the control panel styled—the host had posted the wrong path on the faq.
I’ll ask the host to provide viewable urls for the other 2 sites.
