Veteran developer Mark Huot talked about the Channel API: ExpressionEngine 2.0’s methods for interacting with your entries and Channel related metadata. Especially considering that this API is not yet fully documented for third party developers, Mark did a fantastic job of showcasing how much time and coding energy the new APIs can save.
Is there any documentation currently for the API? Specifically around using the API to submit new entries?

No, the documentation is going to be released in a future iteration; making Mark’s grasp of the API all the more impressive!
